Emission test 2003 OZ Lancer Test pipe

HI i need to go get my emission test done next month. I have test pipe and cold air intake. Will there be a problem with me passing the emission test? And do they just plug into the computer to do the testing or use the pipe still.

In Illinois all they do is plug in an ODB-II scanner and if no codes show up you get a pass. So if you don't have a CEL, then you should be fine. Provided you have an OBD-II complain vehicle.

This is a great question. I'm sorry I can't answer it for you. I'm more sorry that someone in Schaumburg was so bored that they boosted your muffler. That's so lame. What I will do, however, is jack your thread with a similar question. Hope you don't mind.

I have a turbo-back with a test pipe. I have the O2 relay, tricking the system and thus eliminating the CEL. Do you think this will work for the testing? I'm due in August.

ya i think you`ll have a problem without the muffler but then again you might never know. I`ve seen some weird stuff done to pass it.
