yea uhhh maybe u should just stop typing now. there are way too many things i wanna get into and dont really have the energy. just leave it be and talk about something else. the people that want to drive sanely and responsibly are going to do that and convoy together and the ones that want to be a danger to society and give the industry a bad image will do so regardless. pick ur side.

its a wonder why i get pulled over for nothing. i have never gotten a ticket of any sort but i get pulled over quit often. profiling is a ***** but there is a reason for it(just read above posts.)
i see people die everyday because they think they know how to drive.

we all choose to do what we do. but u have to accept the consequence of the choices u make. whither it is getting trashed on a message board, receiving a ticket, or doing life for vehicular manslaughter. its all relative. i just don't want to be dead in a ditch because u wanted to blow by me at 100+. so i will accept the consequents of choosing who i roll with.

i used to roll with tons of fast and reckless (including me) drivers back in the day in southern California. i have seen a few of my fellow crew die because of it. i have learned the hard way.(spent some quality time in the hospital following a bogus move by a retarded driver.) and i guess some people here will have to also. i just don't want to be next to u when u decide to learn that lesson.

yeah know getting profilied is bull****, and i understand were you coming from. but like i said people will choose what they please. you act like just because us 4 did what we did is why everyone else gets profiled. other people were speeding too and i've done did apologized more then once to those who got lost and left behind in this attempted convoy. your not the only one that gets profiled, why do you think i have half the record i do!

and i'm not picking a freaking side, because i understand where you and lancer7 are coming from. but you guys need to accept is i can't control what other people do. a guy from ams lead out the convoy from AMS and his along with an evo just took off. all i did was tried keeping up because they changed the route we were taking to try and catch up with the vans and trailers from AMS. okay i know a lot of people that have gotten hurt from stupid ****, and i know how dangerous what some of us did. but as i've stated before no one was forced to speed. they did it on there own free freaking will!

naw i am taking it personal, i just loved being freaking attacked for doing something i wanted too. i didn't ask anyone to drive fast or stupid. everyone drove how they wanted too. the ones that didn't want to drive fast didn't and the ones that wanted to have a lil extra fun did so.

next yr i'll just fly solo because as i mentioned to don't try and run, even if i try to plan something for next year i'm sure no one is going to want to be involved because of how outta hand and nasty this all has gotten. i guess i can't accomplish trying to help host a pre-event or a convoy. so why try next year. no one will show to go out in the convoy so i don't even matter.

this thread just needs to be closed so all this bs can end.

 

jerry you gotta understand i never meant for the convoy to end up like that. yeah i won't lie it was a freaking blast. but its not like i haven't seen my fair share of crap too. i've had plently of people die because of bogus things. but we all have to learn, and sometime it takes learning things the hard way. if i would have gotten a ticket i would have taken it. and if i would have taken someones life i'd sit in jail and i know i belonged there. alright i know that when i was driving that fast i was risking my life plus the people around me. but what pisses me off is everyone is tearing into me like i have no freaking respect for other people on the road. i knew what the consequences could have been, and i know what i was doing was crazy. but i only live once, and i dunno.

i'm done trying to justify myself in any way to anyone. i know what i did, and whatever would have happened i would have taken responibity for.... at least i can say that much for myself. and people can trash me all they want now, because i guess i just don't care. if i keep my evom account will be a miracle, because yeah know i don't think i deserve to be the only one that gets torn a new ***-hole for driving fast. i wasn't the only one, but i sure am the only one getting torn apart on my own damn freaking thread i started. so i just don't care. maybe i'll keep my account for my friends in ne, least they give to craps about me, and know how i drive is my own responsibility to deal with and don't treat me like crap over it.

i never said i couldn't stand u. and no one else that i know of did either. hell i barely know u. its not what u did that is getting a reaction its how u are responding to it.
we all have our moments or fast driving. its how and where it is done. and thats not the problem.
its just the image that is portrayed while in a group. ur not the only one but why contribute. u cant complain about profiling when u are contributing to the reason why u are being profiled. thats why its done. in this case the profiling com would be correct in assuming that an Asian in a import is doing something stupid. i know its harsh but its true.
i (we)didn't single u out. u singled yourself out. i just voiced my opinion on why i didn't convoy from AMS. i knew better and made my own choice. i have no problem with anyone wanting to drive careless and killing themselves. i just want to be somewhere else when they do.

Word, point was made. Some people will listen to the advice and some may not. If opinions haven't changed by now, They're probably not going to. It's too bad that some can only learn a lesson by experiencing it. I feel sorry for the poor souls that will be the consequence of those lessons.

ok ok ok `ill end this.

1) we are all adults
2) who ever drove fast it was their choice ( i drove fast but wasn`t part of a convoy + i take all blame for my actions so shove it HAHA)
3) we all had a good time.
4) If people don`t like going up with convoy`s don`t go.
5) driving in and out of cones doing less than 5 miles an hour is not reckless its just having fun cops would give u a warning max.

and i also wanna keep this thread open.

I do have a question though who went for the tour and did anyone get any pics inside i missed it.

 

I started to go, but got called to go run my car on the dyno since the second AMS car dropped out. Cameras were not allowed. Everyone complained about the heat, but I didn't make it that far. Last year it was nice and cool in there.

 

people need to mind thier own business. preach to people who give a dam cause I dont. The same people talking **** are the ones doing the same ****. one word....hypocrites. End of story......MOVE ON.
