don't think so.... i see him alot and he doesn't ever want to talk about it. he is definitely new to the manual car scene as well, he needs to learn how to shift.

Ok wheels didn't fit! This blows, I wasted time and about $80 on getting the tires mounted and balanced to rims that don't fit. So I just paid another $80 and put on the Hankooks I had. The tires work great!! They grip the snow better than my winter sports but they lost a little maneuverability.

Why whenever I mention a summer tire at discount tire they try to talk me into some all-season. They always say some (whatever brand they're trying to push) all-seasons have more grip. I just have to say, "Have you seen results from these being tracked? No? Okay, I trust the tons of people with (insert summer tire)'s that actually track them."

I'd get all seasons, if I had a corolla! Snow tires for the winter is where its at. Especially nice to have an extra set of wheels just for the winter tires so you swap the set easily.

Just have tirerack dropship them to wherever you plan to have the tires installed, you wont have to deal with their salespeople and they still get the money from mounting/balancing the tires.
