I would post up on RockfordRacing might have better luck for info.

Side note: why were you getting work done at Tuffy's in the first place, I know Anderson Service Dept sucks the big one..but Tuffy's??
I just moved into town. Didn't know where else to go. I will check out Rockford Racing.

If anyone knows of anything else I should check out, I could use the possitive motivation.

Thanks!

Can't agree more with him. Chain stores and such could give 2 sh*ts less about someones car. They get paid to do a nothing job. A stealership is probably a better bet than Tuffys.

if it is gutted, it can be totalled for the parts that have to be replaced. Imagine the seatback of the recaro is $2500 and that doesn't include the seatcover or seat base frame.

inspite....I met up with a few "car friends" tonight and let them all know what was up... hopefully hear something

Like others have said, the car was in their possession when this happened, they should cover all the damage..make sure that OEM NEW parts replace those that were damaged/stolen

I'd like to say welcome to the area, I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you. If you ever need anything drop me a line, I'm usually around. Just PM me and ill hit you up with my cell.

Edit:
Want to pm me what was all taken...the evo population in rkfd between 6-12 give or take and I know 90% of them, I will let them all know as well.

i am in the area as well. i heard about this from a friend of mine that is also on the boards. so i came on to check it out. i will keep a keen ear to the ground and pm u if i hear anything. but i also agree with others here that it most likely was an inside job. to much work and time involved for a quick steal. it would have been easier to just take the whole car.

Thanks for the support guys. The evo specific parts they got were the front and rear seats. The HKS exhaust. Perrin test pipe. Mitsu 3 gauge cluster. "A" piller gauge pod with AEM wideband and prosport EGT.

There is no damage to the car. I don't know how they got in if it was locked.

Thanks again all!

if there is no damage to the car or locking mechanisms, i would definately say thats grounds that someone that works for the shop was in on it. especially, as everyone already stated, the amount of time it would have taken to lift up the car to get the exhaust parts and to take out the interior. definately fishy as hell.
