FS: Blox 272/ 272 Cams/ 5 Bolt Camgears, Hallman MBC PRICES LOWERED!!!
I purchased these about a month ago from Speed Element (www.speedelement.com) out in California and was going to run a similar set-up to the car on the thread below:
http://www.norcalevo.net/index.php?o...&topic=19027.0
Blox cams definitley make good power. Getting 300whp down on a DynoDynamics (stock EVO 8 usually dynoes at around 215-220 whp) running on 91 octane sold me on the setup.
But...things have come up and I have to put the car mods on hold. All parts are brand new and never been installed:
Blox 272 Intake/ 272 Exhaust cams for EVO VIII.
AKMEE 5-Bolt Camgears
Package Deal on Blox Cams + Akmee Camgears...$400 OBO PICKED-UP!!!
ARP Headstuds - EVO
SOLD!!!
Hallman MBC (Black)
Asking $80 OBO Picked up
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or want to make an offer. I'm located in Lombard, IL. Thanks for looking.

what part of chicagoland are you from? I am looking for cams for my car but i never heard of blox cams before...
we have 93 octane here in the area..
how can you gain 80 whp just with a cam install?

Blox have been around for quite some time, predominantly known for Honda go fast goodies http://www.bloxracing.com . Since Blox is based out of Fremont, CA which was near were I used to live in California, I've seen the testing process they have put into their stuff and are pretty confident with using them.
As for the 80whp increase, it was not from the cams alone. As I stated above, I wanted to run a similar set up to the car wich had more supporting mods such as TBE, LICP, etc. but used Blox cams instead of HKS 272/272 or GSC 272/ 272. These HKS/ GSC setups seems to be the bench mark most people measure cam performance against.
