I was wondering if there would be anyone from the Chicago area that would be willing to install cam gears and camshafts on my 03 EVO VIII. I would also be willing to help as I am mechanically inclined but, I have never worked on the internals of a motor. Any replies greatly appreciated. Of course you will be getting paid for this.

Just in case you don't find anybody to help you, give AMS a call. I believe they will install cams on an VIII for $270. But don't quote me on that one, they are in the process of moving and their prices may change. It's really not that bad of a price, and at least you know the install would be perfect. Good luck.

Car is running fine, everything seems to be O.K. Yea I would def give him a shout if you want some work done.

Maciek at APM is a great guy he knows what he's doing. He did a lot of work on my car including cams and he tunned my car. Car is running great and he is going to do turbo installation on my car

Yes he does installs including clutch, but I am the contracted 'tuner' for APM. I never knew he tuned otherwise why would he call me? :P.
