Neutral opinion :D

okay guys. i cant make up my mind. i need some facts and since all yall live here ( ) you can give me some hopefully good info. I'm a car addict. its all i talk about. its all i think about. I'm taking 4 auto shop courses at my school in one semester(and i wanna take more...but they wont let me lol). oh and I'm absolutely obsessed with supras. more specifically the 2jz. i also like wranglers, buncha my friends have jeeps and i like to off road. i was originally gonna get a 08 lancer. but its too slow and its modibility is dead.

so now heres my question

i basically have 2 choices between a NA supra (cant afford a tt ), or a jeep wrangler jk. and i just cant decide. my dad is helping me pay for some the car but in the end i will be paying him back (not fully for the wrangler though). it would be my daily driver which is why idk what i would do in the winter with a supra. and well yea a wrangler speaks for itself. lol

heres the 2 cars i basically am choosing from.

or

what do you guys think i should do? yes I'm 16 BUT. i currently drive a 92 corvette which is more hp than the supra, but its put on jacks and stored in the winter. so i need to buy a car.

what would you guys do in the winter if you had a supra? Ive been leaning toward the wrangler but every damn time i go on the Internet i ALWAYS find my self looking at the damn supra. and it makes me sad that if i didn't get it. of course i would be happy with either but i think i would miss having a "car" for the summer.
and if you ask. yes i have a job bla bla i pay for my own gas bla bla. when it comes to cars I'm basically on my own from my parents.
thanks

My insurance on the Evo wasn't ever bad; but I was 25+ when I got mine first. It probably helped my insurance company had no idea what an Evolution was at first. I went nearly a year with a 'Lancer'.... haha.

Anyways, I know there are die-hard Jeep fans out there, but I'm not one of them. If you want something fast or something to wrench on that's one thing. The Jeep you can wrench on suspension wise out the wazoo and drive year-round.

JEEP. if that is all you want is a dd but if you want something that will hold value then the Supra.
IMO I would go with the Jeep
I sold my Jeep and got the EVO VIII and I love it more everysummer and winter that I did.

^keeping the vette 100% stock, is in brand new condition at the moment, took it to our dealer for its "check up" they said it was perfect and they never saw a vette so clean LOL

i decided aginst the supra atm ( ). im going to get just a 05-07 wrangler right now. reason: i dont want to have another high hp car that i can mod at this age, im only 16. and even i know how much trouble ill get in with it. so heres my plan.
this summer im going to buy one with no engine or a blown engine, like ratty interior maby some body damage (no frame damage) for like 2-7k and just re build it. id work on it with my friends and what not and hopefully complete it in 2010. and when im doing it, id not do a stock swap. i would try to go with the best components, for it im looking for a little more hp, like only 5-700 hp. nothing special, then stay with that set up untill out of college, and go from there. goal: 1000 hp . im sure its going to be ALOT of work but we got the great elmhurst toyota that will hopefully have everything (stock components) i need.
