My car is just gonna stay in the garage for the winter. I'll take it out if the roads r clear and it's nice weather. I'm at school anyways so I really don't drive the car that much right now.

I would be interested. Do you have any pictures? Can I stop down by you to see anything? Thanks for the heads up.

What does everyone think about the Yok AVS db sport tires? I heard good snow traction, but then on Tire Racks web site reviews are not good. It was a 5.0 on a scale up to 10.0.

Ordered mine via Tirerack.com today.

They are on sale for $89 a piece.

You got them in 235/45-17? I can't find them on the website.

According to High Rev (Mike) they worked great on his FWD Eclipse so they should work for you too.

Just received my new set of Continental ContiExtreme Contact. Great fast service from Tire Rack. I received my tires before they charged my credit card. I will have them on soon about 1500 more miles. Then I will give my review. I ended up paying 470.00 for shipping and all.

Under $500, that's pretty wild. Same factory size?

I've ordered a set of four Semperit Sport Grip performance snow tires in the OEM size from my local Discount Tire for $380 incl. tax and installation. Semperit is an Austrian division of Continental.

CMC - what kind of tire is that? Like all-season then? What's the tread rating/treadlife and all that good information?

Same size 235/45/r17. Paying under $500 is what I had in mind.

The Semperit Sport Grips are M&S snowflake rated winter/snow tires...read all about them at discounttire.com. Here's an excerpt:

Semperit has proven itself year after year. The “Goliath” was Semperit’s first winter tire back in 1936. They are also credited with providing the world’s first directionally-oriented H-rated winter tire in 1987. When you purchase Semperit tires, you can feel confident you are getting a great value backed by a great reputation.

Semperit Sport Grip
Semperit’s Sport Grip tire is available in 15", 16", and 17" sizes. It has specially designed tread patterns to improve stability on dry roads without compromising snow traction—a win-win situation regardless of the winter climates you may experience. The tire’s directional tread design helps clear snow and water where the tire and road meet, improving your grip to the road. Semperit’s Sport Grip provides maximized traction and lateral guidance on winter roads, leading to increased driving stability.
