Good to here you're okay. **** those cops!!!!!!! A ticket?! You have got to be ****ting me! I wonder if you can take legal action against them in some way. That is just plain ignorant on their part! Your well being is much more paramount than a ****ing accident scene!

My doctor is highly upset that they only checked my blood pressure at the hospital. So yes im sure now I will be seeking legal action for all this and because they didnt keep me longer there. Saturday I was like a zombie just in a daze and still in shock..

My burn is healing ok thanks to my friend for helping me clean it out since the hospital did not. My cuts are ok and my bruises are starting to show. I do have nice contusion on my left knee from who knows what.

We're still trying to figure out what burned me in the whole ordeal.

To answer the previous question.. it happened on 290 WB right after 83 and before Addison Rd..

I will keep everyone posted! Thanks so much for everything.. it helps!
Man, this is like something you hear from the tv show "House"
Im glad you are alright for the most part. And good job, go after them with legal action. They all seem to be incompetent at their jobs.

Wow. Keep your head up. Hope all the tests go well and everything works out for you.

So probly into the forest near Addison Park District or near Salt Creek.

I used to live right off the 290 extension ramp (EB exit to 83S). People used to slide off that thing a lot. I would be sleeping at night and hear screeching tires, then it was a matter of hearing anything past that to determine if they lost enough control to slide down the hill.

wow! glad to hear your ok. Like everyone else has said put in a complaint because they clearly did not do anything to help you. Police officers are supposed to be there to protect and serve.

Wow Gina.. Idk really what to say but I'm glad your alive. Thats some scary crap.. and I'm glad nothing is seriously wrong with you.

The dizziness and blurriness should go way.. just you need to rest up you body can only take so much and you've only got that one body.

jesus christ... cops nowadays write tickets for all kinda stupid reasons without using common senses.. they actually expected u to stay at the scene with no phone, wait for someone to help, with ur injuries, after 2 1/2 hrs of blackout, at 3:30am, in freezing temperature, on the side of an interstate highway....
glad that ur ok tho.

Yeah, Glad your ok.. i went through something bad too..

my 1g DSM my car was found off a cliff, 55 feet down, 125 feet off the road.. according to the police report.. was at 2am. my car went off the road where there was no guard rail, and rolled taking out a 30 year old tree.

ended up spending 22 days in the hospital and had a 80,000 dollar hospital bill.

first 3 days were ICU, didnt know if i was going to make it. came out with serveral broke bones, including my sternum from the steering wheel. funny thing is my seat completely broke, and my seatbelt was still buckled when they found it. i was actually ejected from the car and the car ended up ontop of me in soft dirt, and they had to dig me out. 3rd degree burns from the antifreeze leaking on my legs.

i guess the reason im posting this is to say this stuff does happen, and people should enjoy life.

car ran 13.2 @ 99 before i got my TRE trans, evo 3 16G, walboro 255, safc II, and ported the crap out of my exhaust manifold and O2, which killed my previous boost creep. was my first and much loved car. RIP.

Do you have health insurance? Legally it shouldn't make a difference at a hospital, but everyone knows it does. HMO?

I'd find a reporter at a big paper in your area. Explain your story to the reporter and see what s/he thinks.

You should absolutely sue the hospital for negligence. Your concussion alone could have been something that could have developed into something serious (subdural hematoma anyone?).

Write everything down today right now in as much detail, get each page notorized. Because lawsuits take years and you'll be amazed at how much you forget. Especially dealing with the cops. Names, small details, etc.

If you have health insurance, figure out how it works. Get a box with folder dividers and keep copies of everything. Billing in hospitals is the most ****ing retarded thing ever. Every department will bill you, they can never keep track of anything. They fire out bills at everyone in hopes that someone pays. Plus medical insurance reimbursements that insurance is supposed to pay the hospital, always gets screwed up.

Complain about the emergency room doctors that initially treated you to the medical board.

Ohh, and run everything by your lawyer before you talk to anyone, especially your insurance agency.

I spent over $250k and over a month in the hospital, 6 months before I could walk again because some moron ran an intersection at 40 mph and hit me head on. While I was on a bike going 10 mph.

Ohh and one more thing. Do all your physical therapy. Seriously. It makes a huge difference. Also, ask about scar therapy if they dont' mention it.
