Because I know a lot of you and we're close ... and i dont have my phone

First I just want to say Im ok...


Sat morning I lost control of my car and slammed into a light pole.. i then rolled my car 250 feet down a ditch. I blacked out for 2 1/2 hours then woke up upside down in my car not sure what was going on.. I finally got out of my seat belt and then tried to crawl out of my car but couldnt because I kept cutting myself on the glass and I was on a slant. Somehow I managed to get out on the side window and then fell into some ice water because the ice broke... I remember looking at my headlamp 5 feet away saying.. My car is ok I can fix it.. I think I was still in shock. I managed to crawl on the ice and snow up the incline back to 290 after losing my shoes a few times and falling. I tried to flag people down but no one stopped. Finally when I was going to give up a lady appeared and she helped me. She asked where my car was and all i could do was point to the trees and say somewhere down there. She took me to the police station and they wanted me to wait so she said forget it and took me to the hospital. I cant believe no one saw the accident and I had been down there so long. The hospital was horrible they didnt xray me and they didnt observe me for long even though I had blacked out. I couldnt remember anyones number since I couldnt find my phone in the car. But I did remember work and I had them call my friend to come get me. I have some burns and cuts .. but luckily im alive and nothing is broken. My doctor I work for is going to look at me tomorrow and he is upset with the hospital not doing more. The cops gave me a stupid ticket which I have to fight for leaving the scene, however what was i suppose to do with no phone and I had already been down there for 3 hours by the time someone came. I am lucky to be alive today to tell this story and to just be blessed to have nothing serious happen to me. I hope everyone is safe out there.. Life is precious and not something to be taken for granted. My car is totalled and I will get to see it Tues.. so I will maybe upload pics... no its not an evo, but hey im an old member For now you can reach me online until I get my phone again!

Sorry to hear that Gina, glad your alright.

 

I wont get a chance to see my car until Tues, They had trouble finding it while i was in the hospital then it took a semi tow truck to get it out because it was so far in that a regular tow truck couldnt reach it.

Well everything happened around 330am and I cant believe not one person saw anything. The police never got a call until I made it back up almost 3 hrs later to flag someone.. You couldnt see my car or the broken light pole from the road unless you pulled over...

OMG- I hate hearing stories about accidents, good to hear you're allright.
Nothing broken, bruises and cuts heal, hope all is back to normal soon.

Hector~ Yah i know i cant believe no one reported it or anything. I was able to talk to the lady that stopped to help me and she said when she took me to the police station they were rude about everything and wouldnt give us a blanket or anything so she called 911 and told them she was taking me to the hospital. They made her leave saying they were going to xray me but they never did...
