Big Turbo Evos around STL

Anyone? I really want to ride in a larger turbo evo since I am building my motor up and trying to choose my turbo size. I really want a 35R but I would like to feel first hand how bad some of these "laggier" turbos really are.

I'll buy some drinks

There were a few....One was driven by a high school girl a few years ago...(BOOM) a black on with a 35R...haven't seen him around in years.

A white one which detonated and haven't seen since. If there are any others they're still hiding.

toss the 35 idea, you want a really fast strong street evo, wait for the new green coming out.

I have a green and I love it. If it's just a street car, you may not want a crazy big turbo. I road race and auto-x tho. Not much of a drag racer.

I saw your car in the CWE just this weekend, it looks hot (pretty damn sure it's you). How much power are you putting out with the green? Are you running meth at all?

Yep that was probably me. Ya know, I have never had it on a dyno, and I dont really plan on it. I would say in the 360/370 range...I really don't know tho. I'm not running meth. I love the way it feels, and i'll know more after the time attack @ gateway as to how the turbo is going to work out for my needs. I know i'll be pleased. If you thought it looked good this weekend, wait till I get my wheels on this weekend. They are in Chi being powder coated black.

I wouldn't do a 35r w/o doing a 2.3L personally. I've ridden in a few 35r configurations and the lag is there - and some very violent boost afterwards. It just pushes the power range out of the 'street' range on the stock bottom end.

If I had my way, I'd do a 30r personally and the AMS 2.3RR bottom end. But I'd be tracking the be-jesus out of it so it all depends on what you use it for.

Well I no longer have a stock bottom end and I have all the goodies to rev up pretty high, so I'm still considering it an option. The green is no good to me without meth, which I don't want to run.

I want 450-500 on pump with room to grow on a race gas tune, so unless this mythical FP red does that for me, I don't know what other turbo will(maybe a 3065).

Still searching for one to ride in though! Anyone in chicago? I'm coming up there soon to get tuned again

Oh and spraa, we should meet up sometime so I can see that green in action
