There are many Evos in St. Louis...can't believe this thread is so empty. I'm up for a meet and greet. Can't say my Evo is anything special at this point but would love to meet up with other fellow Evo owners here in St. Louis.

Am looking for a reputable place to get tuned that actually knows what they are doing. I'm not expert by any means and would also appreciate help on some simple installs on parts I have.

Lol - good thinking.

I'll be up in Michigan that weekend with NASA @ Grattan. Should be interesting as I've never been there before and I hear there are 2 completely blind turns.

We don't have a lot close to us for tuning. AMS in Chicago is about 4.5 hours away and is an excellent choice. Some goto Buschur in Ohio. Others utilize mail-in flashes or use OpenEcu to tune themselves. My philosophy is goto a reputable place you can trust once and do it right; but that's me.

Installs; check the how-to section. It's really helpful, assuming you have or can source the needed tools. We outta get together and have a big install day perhaps; or maybe that's lame.

Not lame...and not a bad idea. If there is no one in St. Louis who knows Evos then we need to rely on each other. I feel as if one day I'm going to have a whole bunch of parts laying around my garage instead of my car. Truth be told, I love working on my car, but since it's my daily, I'm afraid of busting it.

Things I will handle:
Downpipe
HFC (with non-fouler CEL fix)

Things I think I can handle:
Short shift
Fuel Pump
EBC

Things I know I can't handle:
Clutch
Brake rotors/pads
Cams
Tune

Still interested in a meet and greet if anyone else is game. Doesn't have to be fancy.

Pads and rotors are pretty simple after you've done it once. Biggest thing is bleeding properly. I could demo this.

Go to Hi Tuned performance in Arnold, MO. 55 south to 141. Matt is a great guy and he knows his stuff. I think the shop number is 636-282-4007. He always stays busy, so be patient with the guy. Great fab work. He can do it all.

On the subject of installs, does anyone have a spanner wrench for coilover height adjustment I could use in the near future?

I'll look for mine when I get home. Pretty sure I know where it's at. I'll never need them...
