I`m looking to get an Evo finally and have been shopping around. Carmax charges 3-4 K over blue book, Max Madeson seem to think because i`m young i cant afford it. I have almost prefect Credit score which is 780 + No late fees, bad anything i owe about 400 on my credit cards no payments missed on anything. I own a 2003 lancer which i`m paying 369 a month. I would not mind going to wisc also.

I went with a friend in his gto they took us seriously from the start

 

I got mine from Libertyville mitsu last year, didn't have any problems with them. Let me go on a test drive right away and I drove up in a friend's beater. Went back there a few weeks ago to test drive (and maybe get a X), and didn't have any issues the 2nd time. Not saying they're the best or anything, but never had any problems with them. Like someone else said, if you go to a dealership and they know ur serious about buying, they'll work with you.

 

yeah it all depends on the demand, is the current evo 8 and 9 demand up there? now that the price has lowered a lil bit and the car market sucks maybe youll find a good deal.

Sear everywhere local, thats what I did, look for the best deals too. Stealerships are ftl most of the times and some people just want ridiculous moneys for theirs. I just saw a 03 with a couple mods going for the same what my buddy wants for his 05 ssl with lite mods.

 

watever you do, don't go to biggers mitsu in elgin, big rip of a place and TERRIBLE customer service...I had them quote me for a 05 RS back in 05, they wanted like 31k for it since it was hard to get....there is also a guy on the forum selling a IX in glendale heights too

 

Dont go to Schuamburg Mitsu...they dont back thier cars PERIOD.

 

I don't know about this but my expierence with them has been good, there were the only ones that gave me a new trans b/c of the syncro recall, i had alot of mods then too
