A Yearly Get Together

I used to have a NSX and they have something every year where all of the NSX’es get together and hang out for a week and rent a track. Also all of the vendors come and show off there new stuff and there old stuff. I think that this would be great if we could do something like this. Every year it’s in a different location so sometimes it’s on the east cost, west cost, north, and south. Let me know what you guys think.

That would be sweet. They have this for Jeep owners, called Camp Jeep. It alternates each year, east and west coast. An EVO specific event would have to be big enough to lure distant owners. I wouldn't drive for 8+hrs for an EVO car show. Maybe a car show, driving school, unofficial race, and some family activities for the wife and kids .

It's super cool. Plus you get to see everyone and see what they did to there cars and it's just a good time. It's about $250.00 or so but we could setup a trust fund type deal or something like that. Rent a track and get a hotel.

I hope this does not get to a "Have it in my town" contest. Lets do this. 1st find 100+ people that really want to go and do not mind driving. Also getting there is 1/2 the fun driving with 10 other evo's would be a blast then to see 100 more. :-) Also we need to get the vendors into this as well. I would say Oct would be a good time to have it not to hot not too cold. Does anyone else have some input into this?

I would be all for it too....but of course I would say the Chicago area....plus in Joliet we could all go to Route 66 Raceway AND they have the Chicago Oval Race Park where some NASCAR events are held!!!

Road America in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin. It's one of the best tracks in the country and it's a pretty central location.

Gingerman Raceway in SW Michigan...about an hour and a half from Chicago. Near South Haven, MI on Lake Michigan...touristy for the spouses. The track is much less expensive than the likes of Road America or Mid-Ohio. It is very friendly to novice's, also.
