Ok... I finally gor it in by myself! what a great feeling!

haha. one of the most simple jobs on the evo. be glad you figured it out or you would have gotten a lot of heat.

unfortunatly I put the old one back in after I got it 1/2 way out. due to not being confident in my mechanic abilities. Will maybe try again tonight when I get home from work...Yes I had the electrical part off then started the car, pulled the lines off and teh 6mm bolts then lost confidence in myself

Well I went further tonight.. although no success. I just couldnt get the black metal ring out of the tiny square for the life of me.... will try again tomorrow morn.. any suggestions?

its a pain in the ***. don't force it. and keep working at it. rotate a little. eventually you will figure it out.
