Mod-freindly delearship in Chicago-land??

Just bought an Evo 9 still under factory warranty and I was hoping to do some upgrades without voiding my warranty. Does anyone have any suggestions of a delearship that is mod-friendly? Does it even exist? Thank you!

you could ask some dealerships what mods would void your warranty. at max madsen they said you should be fine with an exhaust and an intake.

I'm stock, but that's where I bring mine too. I appreciate being able to talk to the guy working on my car.

With a modified car you roll the dice every time you take it in for service regardless of whether or not someone at the dealership said it was ok. Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

Max Madsen believe or not is one of the few dealerships that don't go ape crazy when they see a modded car pull up.

They held couple Evo / Eclipse meets last year.
Never went to one...but they even had cash prizes and give-aways from what I heard.

It's a smart marketing tactic. Attract the demographics that actually drives the car. Free marketing!
hahaha.

Yeah I got my car from Grand Mitsu in Bensenville and they said intake "properly installed" and an exhaust that keeps everything from the cat and up intact was ok (no exhaust manifolds, O2 housing/DP, or test pipes). Gauges are also ok since they're "passive". Everything else, even suspension stuff, voids the warranty. No coilovers, BOV, Boost Controllers, etc., very short list of allowable things..

I'm sensing a pattern here Thanks for all the input guys. Even though I didnt ask the question, it's good to know. Sounds like I found a new place to go in the event that I do need warranty work if my car is modded.
