It was from a light. so I guess it was from a stop.

 

I beat a 2003 cobra (modified with exhaust, intake, headers and drag radials) to about 85mph one night from a dead stop. Once he caught me he smoked past, but I had him all the way through 3rd gear.

 

I'm bone stock and whooped a new Mach 1 mustang the other night. We didn't get times or anything, it was on private property with no timing. Just a marked off 1/4 mile. I was pullin 2 or 3 car lengths off the line and would hold it for most of the run. He would start closing slightly toward the end though.

We raced 3 times with the same results.

ate up a 98ish gt with exhaust a few weeks ago. He revved at me and my girlfriend with his buddy in the car. she told me to smoke him. we pulled out of a parking lot with him in front and i slammed past him by the end of 1st.

 

see, I used to have a mustang. It was the "good years " though. It was a 92 Notchback. Love to see 2.0's beat them!!

 

i drove an 01 v8. I just enjoy not having the back end fly around every time I stomp the gas!
