There are 2 cops that I know on the Northside that are into cars. One is really a big DSM guy and the other one owned plenty of nice cars like C6, NSX, 300ZXTT etc.... Now he's picking up a SL55 or a viper...... Rogers park area.....

when i was in my explorer i had cops pull me over for my system. after i saw them i lowered it of course. 2 mins later they pull me over, and there like raise the volume the cops look at each other and then said "raise it more, lil more, ohh yah this was the car playing that music which we heard a half a block away" no ticket though. Another time i got pulled over on the highway, got 5 warnings (no front license plate, tints, object hanging from mirror, rear license plate cover, not having headlights on when its raining) and no tickets.

Everytime a cop talks to me all they say is license, registration and insurance. Plus, why don't you have a stock exhaust, were is your license plate, you have any tickets...lol

That's a pretty awesome story in the OP.

I ran into a DUI checkpoint last weekend, and before the cop even asked me if I had been drinking, he started giving me sh*t about not having a front plate. Made me pull to the side while he ran the license and registration. I don't blame him for the concern over my lack of a front plate, but I thought priority #1 should have been whether or not I had been drinking, considering that was the whole reason they were forcing people to pull over.

Because when calls come in for people doing something like this it leaves a sour taste in their mouth.

On a side note, is anyone bringing a camcorder? If so how about once we get down to the photoshootor right before we leave... maybe have a little two-step "tribute" for those who couldn't make it, or have wrecked their cars this year, or in the past. For EVERYONE that has a two-step on there car, I personally think it'd be awesome everyone doing it at once, lining everyone up and someone give a signal for the fun to happen .. it might set off a few car alarms though.. LOL
