Driving home from class tonight, I caught a light with a Chicago PD squad car. Two cops inside. The driver motioned for me to roll down my window.

- That's an Evo right?
- Yeah.
- Stock?
- Stock-ish. Exhaust, boost controller, flash.
- What kind of exhaust?
- * Oh ****, maybe he smells I'm catless * It's a Greddy Titanium.
- * Both cops nod approvingly * Nice. Where'd you get it flashed?
- AMS.
- Where's that?
- They're in West Chicago.
- How fast is it?
- I just got into 12's but I'm hoping for faster this year.
- * Another nod * Yeah, maybe it was just a slow run.
- Hopefully.
- Have a good night. *Both give me a thumbs up *

dood judging from the questions they were asking it may just be that one if not both have some kind of performance vehicle... most cops don't know poop about EVOs or Japanese performance vehicles for that matter.

ive got pulled over a couple times with a ticket and an invite to an autocross track! lol

haha, i put tires on my buddys evo that runns low 11's and i was doin about 80 in a 50 and a cop caught up to me and just told me to dlow down, then he pinned it by me

Had a cop pull a friend and me over and asked if we were coming from a car show, told him no and we were on our way.

Hah thats awesome, Something like that happend to me around orland park...Cop talked to me for like 30 minutes about the car...He used to have a turbo honda when he was younger.

had a cop walk up to me in a parking lot when i was waiting for a friend i was at idle...i thought i was in poo but he ended up asking what mods i had on the car

Not quite as cool as yours but i was doing 95 in a 35 and cop pulled aside me and asked me if i was trying to see how fast the car goes (i still have temp tags) told him i was testing proper operation of my boost gauges lol he just said to not do it again and drove off with a few cusswords thrown in there.

Well i had cops ask me about my exhaust on 2 separate occasions out in the NW burbs. They wanted to write me a ticket each time for my exhaust. Which is BS cuz im running stock still and they didn't believe me. lol that's how much most cops know about the evo

yeah, some cops at my University looked over my car...then had me floor it 1st-2nd in front of them so they can see it go. LOL
