hey bikerboy... thanks for letting me have this oppurtunity to run with you guys... though i was the only evo that represented, i think i was better dealt with than the other evos that might've shown! lol we should do this another time... if not this year... maybe in the spring. you guys have really inspired me to hooking up my car even further... too bad russ' ride was an auto and couldn't keep up with you guys... either that or he didn't want to ride as hard. i had to finally say "screw it" and skip out in front on that missed turn. again, many thanks... and i was actaully able to run with my afc working... so w00t w00t to that too! noticed some differences, mainly a stronger pull above 3200 rpm, but a real difference after about 5500. see ya around!

VU:

Not a problem, I think everyone had a good time, no one left the road, no tickets, and my passenger didn't barf! although she threatened that she might.

I think we are going to try and do it again this weekend so grab your freinds and lets get lost in Ws.

glad to hear you car is running better as well!!

Hi all, sorry I've been offline for so long - been kinda droopy with my Evo crunched. It's not too bad, though, and I should be rolling again in a week or two - still wating on parts to arrive.

I'd be careful about Opus; I saw someone get busted out there about three weeks ago - I was back chatting with some scubie frends who were hanging there. After busting an MR-2 the local's finest rolled in and told us to clear out.

Who is it that rolls around the cities with the silver Evo and the Teins? I'd really like a ride to comapre those to my JICs.

Be seeing you around.

Cool! I'd really like to check out the difference. Trigeek may also be interested; he's been wanting to compare the two for his spring shopping list.

I am going to go back to stock on Sunday. I am going to race in stock class next year and they are not allowed. I should be available during the day on Saturday if you wanted to meet up.

argh! i'm contemplating tien flexs over the jic too! damn. money just HAS to be an issue here. anyhow, i'm gettin' ready to get my xede also because i can't really tell much at the lower end with my afc. i know it pulls hard up top, but i rarely go there on any given day. anyhow, i'll be needing major help ( info ) with installs or what not. mike, where abouts do you live? i live in st. paul, and if you're free sometimes, maybe i could watch you tackle the corners so i can compare your line. and maybe some tech chat or what not... thanks! semper fi!

hahaha bikerboy. man, for a minute, i thought you wanted her to expose some internal excrement... i especially liked how you made that 2 lane change with minimal room. that tailing wrx was funny too! i don't know whether you were ****in around or not, but he'd follow your every lane change too; i think he had a point to prove. hehe yosmiley talked about probably running it next time with you guys. if you're doing it this sunday, i'm gonna have to pass; i got a conceal/carry gun class! this way, the damn neighbor kids will stop throwing their football around my car!

wu343 - I'll give Trigeek a call and see if he's free Saturday. What class are you going to be running next year? I've been doing AARRF events, legal seat time and lap times with no mod restrictions; but no door to door stuff.

DeZaVu - I'm in Apple Valley - if you need a hand with installs and stuff I might be able to help out.

I replaced my brake pads with them. I was able to overheat and fade the stock pads whenever I wanted on track days. I put them in to improve the situation.

They are ok, but I wouldn't recomend them to someone else. Basically stock in grip, almost stock heat range, more noise, less dust, harder on my rotors - so no benefit. When I datalogged them with my G-Tech Pro Comp they were the same as stock for stopping distances, sometimes a bit longer.

Hey ya'll
I am planning on getting a evo this spring, but are there only 3 evo owners on this board from MN? I think I know at least 3 people that have them.
I have the blue WRX with the blitz front mount, if anyone has seen me around.

Hey , yup it's me.
That really sucks about the water damage. the shop that did the work should be completely responsible. They should be paying for all the bill. Maybe you should let then know that everyone is following this online.
Good luck.
