Help with Clutch

I have an 03 EVO in the chicago area. and my clutch already wore out. I went to ams and seriously i dont want to pay 1500 buck for a replacement. Does anyone know a good place that does not charge so much

$1500 may not be that much, it depends on what type of clutch and flywheel are going in, I'm assuming that's parts labor and everything, but need more details.

Well the clutch is not the clutch that is expensice is the labor. I mean the labor cost more than the clutch himself. i mean i'm willing to do it my self with a friend but i have no tool and no knowlege of how to change the clutch on the evo

This is still a bit difficult to understand, but I'll take a stab at it. Shops around me charge around $800 labor to install a clutch.

Auto zone rents tools out... Cheapest around me on labor is 550

if you want it done right do yourself a big favor and go with strictly modified!!! even if you gotta save a little devin installed my second exedy twin hd, first one installed by dan buschur put close to 100 runs on it and 23,000 miles buschur did a great job but strictly devin worked some kind shiot on my tranny and clutch and i've never shifted so fast in my life and i've been driving 4-5 speeds for over 30 years!!! believe me when i tell you if you want to be amazed go to strictly plus they kool as hell and you will no doubt learn . kid just broke a worlds record 9.59 in a dd dsm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!
