Great, evodemon! Your added.

Long term I'm hoping to get comfy enough with these guys that they'll also cut us a break on street and track tires next spring too. They seem interested and if things go well I'll be able to get a standard discount set up for us.

So Vu, which mirror did you wipe out? I've knocked the glass oud of my drivers side mirror twice on track days now - keep clipping the tall chicane cone/poll. Luckily the glass only broke the first time. It was kinda wierd to have a mirror shatter into my lap through an open window at 80 mph...

Wow - I talked with Discount today and it looks like they have a bunch of the Conti's comming. They have 6 set of Tires ordered that don't have owners yet.

If you need them, now would be a great time to reserve them.

I've got my snow shoes on already - Yokohama AVS Winters. I never realized how noisy the Advans are until I switched to the winters. I want that noise (and grip) back...

Hi everyone - I just talked with Dave and he's going to keep the group pricing open for us for a while longer. I wanted to make sure that people who hadn't reserved a set of tires yet could still get in on our pricing.

Do they still have any left? Are these winter tires only or all season?

erioshi,

Update: Dave just hooked me up with a set of 17x7.5 Enkie 5+ along with the ContiExtreme tires. Thanks again.

Evil 1, these are all season tires... if you want strictly winter tires... check with Dave and see what he can hook you up with.

Yosmiley, how much did you pay for the tire wheel package. I kinda want to take that route too? How long does it take for them to order it? Can someone give me the # to get a hold of Dave or the Discount tire store? Thanks

Well, my venture trying to get a cheap winter wheel/tire setup fell through There are so few 17x7 cheap options that clear our brakes that I decided to cut my losses, especially with the white stuff all around. I'm getting a set of Michellin Pilot Alpins mounted today on stock rims - Zak gave me a reasonable price. Come spring, I'm either back to Advans on stock or a new summer wheel/tire combo... Nah, Vishnu Stage 1+ takes precedence over any dressup items

Thanks Guys for setting this deal up...

oh, and Discount Tire is giving similar discounts for the Contis in other sizes. My roommate got an excellent deal on his set of tires for his WRX.

Here's the deal with my package...

The Rims were not brand new... but they do look brand new, no scratch, bent or ding... It came back from a Mazdaspeed Protege. It's been on the car for 3 days and the rear was rubbing so the former owner returned it.

I was looking for Rims that would fit my STi and at the time, it just so happen that this specific rim came back. My luck, Dave was able to hook me up with the Rims and Tires for $869. Nothing special... just got lucky, that's all.

Good Luck with your search.
