Dealership Recmnd Chicago

Hello everyone,

I am a long time lurker and would like some recommendations of a good Mitsu dealership in or around the chicagoland area. I am in the market for a 09 RA. All of the threads I have gone through only seem to show negative experiences.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I had a pretty bad experience with Grand Mitsubishi when I was looking to buy an X. They have some real dumbasses in sales. Schaumburg Mitsu has been great though.

i would not go to biggers or scumburg mitsu. they both declined to do a recall hood cable on my car.. they also stated that my 08 with 8,000 miles has no warranty ,and refuse to work on any part of the car. i also have a voice mail i can send anyone who wants to hear brian schwartz's district manager of mitsubishi elgin and scumburg.comment on any work on any evo just pm me your number and i will forward it

wow that's weird. Schaumburg Mitsu did my hood latch recall no problem. Maybe because I have bought two Evos from them.

Anyway, with those mods in your sig, I don't see how you should be whining about not having a warranty. Mitsu warranty sucks even if you keep your car stock. Im pretty sure everyone on this forum knows the warranty flies out the window once you start modding your car. That's the risk you take when you start going above and beyond the car's stock capabilities. You should at least take responsibility when something goes wrong.

not looking at engine warranty . i have 8000 mles on the car and all i wanted them to do is check the alignment seeing i have a 12 month 12,000 mile on adjustments, and my pass side front tire is bald on the inner edge. i am aware of mods and warranty issues though. i have no mods on the suspension at all. the service manager kieth becker looked at the car in the lot ,and came back to me telling that my brembo calipers are not stock therefore i have no warranty on the alignment. i asked if he was joking and he said nope he was serious. he does not even know the car,and he is a mitsu service manager. i told him they were stock, and he chuckled, and said he has seen several evo's and not one has had red brembo calipers.

Yeah, most Evos have brown calipers because of excessive track use.
