Anyone feel sorry for that Cubs fan?

I sure as **** don't. If the cubs don't win tonight, I feel he deserves all the **** he's gonna get

granted, he wasn't entirely at fault but there shoulda been two outs on that ground ball to gonzalez and he wouldn't have tried to rush it. I think the whole mindset on the game changed on that foul ball. I know I personally felt it in my stomach and then they went on to score 8 runs in the inning.

Damn the curse! Our own fans are screwing us now!

Let's go Woody!!

I agree. If we lose tonight that kid deserves what he gets! He was listening to the game on his walkman, he knew what was going on. Plus he already had one game ball from earlier on,
did he really need another one??

I just about put a hole in my wall when that **** happened. If I were sitting next to that dude, I'd have thrown his *** on the field and let Alou kick the crap out of him.

That dude was an idiot and I would've kicked his *** on the spot. He's lucky security moved him. All those people were just waiting to kick his ***.

Wood's gonna carry us to the promise land!

Screw the Cubs, they should have let the Goat in the stands all those years back and they wouldn't have that problem.

Goats deserve to watch baseball too.

Look, not to bash on you or get flamed on! Its part of the game! There were alot of other things that contributed to what happened! I am from FL but, I am not a Marlin nor a Cub fan. But to blame a game on fly ball in the stands? Thats not right it happens in alot of games. Do I think its messed up, yes I agree that it should have been an out! And like the Cubs Manager said, "the fault is on us, not the fan that tried to catch a foul ball, making excuses is not going to help us win a ball game!" I just hope its a good game tonight! And hope its a fair one and no fighting, whats that going to solve. And I think the league is going to just cancel the game if anything happens!! I don't think anyone wants that! By the way I have to root for the home team!(Even though its not my team! ) So like I said not bashing on you nor flaming, so please don't do it to me! I am just stating my opinion!

ah, in regards to the other ball the guy caught, it was the one that Alou flipped up into the stands in an earlier inning. Irony!

PRVRT, yeah I know we're prolly overreacting. But to be a long time cubs fan, get this close and have one of your own fans set you back...It doesn't get much worse than that.

I guess we should just move all the fans back another 50 feet, what do you think?

C'mon. The guy caught the ball, and then the Cubs went into suck mode. It's not all his fault that the Cubs gave up after a ruined play.

I bet this guy is getting death threats and his windows broken just because some unemployed jackasses think that he stole the chance for greatness away from them.

I personally can't wait for the Cubs to win tonight, and then all the riots to start. I work with Northwestern Memorial downtown, so I know how many people will be coming in hurt and bleeding.

If the cubs lose tonight, I'm sure everyone will blame this one guy, who caught one ball. Did he catch that ball in the other games the Marlins won?

No?

I didn't think so. The Cubs are hot this year, but so are the Marlins. Maybe you should realize that there is more to the Cubs losing than just some fan screwing us the Cubs over in one play. I feel the Cubs could have still pulled it off, had they stuck it out and PLAYED the game instead of throwing a fit.

It worries everyone that the series came this far, but I think that the Cubs can do it...If they do, in a week, nobody will even care about this guy....if they don't, this guy will probably have to leave state before some drunk dumbass kills him. Gotta love how people treat each other.
