Anyone familiar with this EVO ?

I'm looking for a EVO IX, and stumbled upon this, the price is good however it has a few mods concerning me.

1. aftermarket intercoloer
2. snowperformance sticker... (most people dont put methanol injection stickers on their car unless they actually have it...)

I figure it's still worth a shot to look at it and test drive, seeing as i have never driven an evo before

A lip im not concerned about, more so the snow performance sticker.. methanol is IMO a serious thing... pump failure = toast engine.. I'll probably go out to see it in person wednesday and to test drive it... most likely wont be picking it up unless it checks out and the logs are fine.. and they'll straight up trade for my STi.

if not i'll just wait for spring.

Do not want.

Edit: also, I'd get someone that knows a ton about Evos to go with you to checkout whatever you're thinking about picking up when you ID it. A little bit of money, but could save you a big headache.

There are like ZERO 06 evo's forsale in Illinois. Im debating looking more towards the south to avoid rust, but im weary of picking up a car out of state and then im unsure how to sell my subaru, i cant exactly have two cars at one point in time and im not a fan of having car payments..

sell the subaru to carmax, you go, they appraise, you get a check, very simple, you dont have to buy anything, just make sure ur subaru is completly stock when you go because you get a higher quote
