I have an '03 Evo 8 that had been bullet-proof reliable - until recently. I've spent the last year grappling with a problem handled by one of the Detroit area dealers. Because they've been rather accommodating I won't name them - they've done a lot to try and fix things - but I don't get the sense they are really familiar with Evos. I seem to get the car back fixed in one way and then something else is broken. Very frustrating.

I'm running out of ideas about where I can get competent service for my car. I've already had a very bad experience with Moran, back in 2008, so they are off my list. I've heard good things in the past about Bay City Mitsubishi, but that is 90 miles away!

My problems at the moment seem to be driveline related. I'm still covered under my aftermarket extended warranty so I need to find someone certified who can do warranty work.

I love my car, but it's starting to feel like having a loved one with an incurable disease. I need an Evo specialist who can get things right again!

Any suggestions for knowledgeable tuners or Japanese/Mitsu specialty mechanics in the No. Detroit metro area?
