My evo 8 needs a clutch install ASAP. I have the parts in hand now and need the help of some Michigan/Midwest Evo owners.

Please recommend someone that A) has experience B) has the tools C) will do it for a reasonable price (budget around $500 plus "Trade Swap").

I know this forum has members from all over, maybe someone knows of a guy in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area that can work on my evo.

I could possibly help you if you wanted to bring it down during the week. Im available tues-thurs and could help if you want to drive about an hour south of Toledo. I have all the tools.

 

I appreciate the offer I dont think it will make a trip down that far. I think its slipping pretty bad...no acceleration...revving pretty high before any movement...makes me nervous to move it that far.

I will keep you in mind for future work though. Also, I plan on using buschur racing for my performance needs. What do you think of their work? Can you compare it to the other major players in the midwest like AMS.

I'll do it for $400. I am located in Bloomfield Hills, MI (45 minutes north of Detroit). I can have it done in 3 days due to my schedule. Let me know if you want to work something out.

What clutch did you buy? Do you have your fluids as well?

I just finished up another Evo clutch a few days ago for another local. I need to do mine too!

 

Contact PPI, he is a vendor and local to you. There is also Showcase Mitsu in Bay City. They have always been a great help to the mievo guys/gal.
