Big thanks to DS1 for free dyno day!
Dylan at DS1 (better known for Subarus) had a customer appreciation dyno day (and even some non-customers got in for free dyno time) at Boomba on Saturday the 8th of May.
There were a few Evos up there, but more notably aftershock141 and myself, two Octane Blue Evo 10 GSRs. We had pretty similar mods, he had a test pipe I had HFC, his O2/DP was xtremeboost or something, open dump (LOUD) and mine was the AMS widemouth... he had a UR dual exit exhaust, I had AMS single cat-back... he was running the AMS short ram intake, while I had the full cold air, he was running stock turbo and I was running a port and polished stock turbo w/ ported exhaust manifold. He had AMS FMIC, I had stock.
Again, similar mods, but he put down 328 whp and I put down 298 whp! He's got small advantages here and there, but apparently those added up to 30whp more on a mustang dyno
Torque numbers were pretty close though, I think I was near or over 300 and he was at 318 I believe.
I don't have my graph yet but my logging via Tactrix has consistently been showing 26 psi in 3rd gear and 25psi in 4th gear. Chris said he never hits 24psi, so that had me a little confused. Either way, great set of mods and tune Chris, you should be hitting about 350whp on a Dynojet if the general comparisons between dynos hold any truth behind them. I hope to see you at Autobahn soon
Now back to the title topic, Dylan at DS1 was gracious enough to let some of Chris (aftershock141)'s friends on the dyno even though they were not *yet* customers of his. Cory with an SLK hit 177rwhp (2.3L supercharged). Do not know what

Definitely had a good time at this Dyno Day, and would like to say thanks to Dylan and the rest of DS1 as well. My friends would also like to say thanks for everything including all of the words of wisdom.

Can a mod please move this back to the Midwest regional forum? It's a thread about the dyno day... even though it mentions DS1, it's not a review of their services or products.
If the answer is a no, can I please get a PM about the why's and how's? Thanks
