Angry Evo Accident

I can't believe this!
I was at Streets of Woodfield last night, about 11pm ready to leave. I'm at the end of the parking lot waiting for some cars to pass so I can turn right and join the line of leaving cars. Someone's reverse lights catch my attention so I lay on the horn. He just kept going and backed out of his spot right into me, without looking back!!!! I get out of my car and he gets out of his....well, his music was so damn loud I now know why he didn't hear my horn. He didn't want me to call the cops cuz there wasn't much visible damage except a scratch (this morning I could see MANY scratches, and 2 dime size dents). He told me that he was going to tell the cops that he didn't even hit me!!! I said I had a passenger that witnessed it and he told me he knew 10 guys outside that could say he didn't!!!!!! What a *****! I told the cop everything, but even she said that she didn't see any damage but she still wrote up a report (with only our info. on it, not a story of what happened). He got a ticket for not having his insurance card on him, but supposedly has insurance (yeah that's why he didn't want me to call the cops? ) What the hell do I do now? No insurance company/number?

I've got a good receipt for you:

A dozen eggs
One pound of flour
One puund of sugar
two bricks
A baseball bat

And well, pretend that his car is a mixing bowl. j/p Hahaha...

Sorry to hear about that man. I'd hound him until he paid. Or you could get a lawyer and sue him in civil court, but that would cost more money... You're kinda screwed...

my suggestion: do something....fast! insurance comapanies are garbage.... yes even the big/respectable ones. everyone wants to make money these days, and not help out anyone. my mom crashed in chicago, my girlfriend crashed in morton grove. both were the other person's fault (oddly enough, both were side swipes). anyways, stupid people told the insurance companies that they (mom and girlfriend) were driving fast, recklessly, not paying attention yada yada yada.... anyways insurance only covered like 60% of the damage because they said it was partially their fault!!!!! can you believe that? they both called the police right away and filed the insurance claims. if i were you, i would get on it right away.

Mitsu estimated repair costs at about $670.00 That's unbelievable for the amount of damage there is. Dayum...

File a claim with your insurance company, and if they come back and say he has none, go right to small claims court.

go to dentwizard try it. Leave the scratches...we'll probably need a new paint job in a few years anyway. Don't do the mixing bowl idea. The Evolution is easily recognized. Protect ur car. I was driving thru NYC, some dumb****s knock on my window really hard and scared the **** out of my gf. I got out my car, picked up two glass bottles on the sidewalk and asked some guy where they went. He just held me back and said it's not worth it. It's really not worth it.

Hey WannaRace... remember me?

If you want me to hook you up in the dent repair, I may be able to, but you'd have to come up here. Our body shop (where I work) is really good at fixing dents/scratches. I wouldn't have all the dents fixed via a body shop, but find a "dent guy" and have him do it if you wanna go that route.

Let me know... I'll try and help.

Yep I remember you...And thanks a lot, I appreciate everyone's response. My car is in the body shop right now, they said they'll need til Friday to get it done. Hopefully things look normal when it comes out...I don't want any darker/lighter paint on my bumper than the rest of the car

Chicago area drivers are by far the worst I have seen. Especially up at Streets of Woodfield. It is usually some punks, trying to look cool and burn out in front of everyone. I don't go up there anymore the crowd is a little too young for my taste. The cop should have put his info on the report and you can give that to your insurance company. They will file a report with the state, and the state can threaten to revoke their license unless they pay for your damages. Trust me I know this the hard way, by getting hit by someone with no insurance that tried to put me through the ringer. Make him pay or do as mentioned above and turn his car into a mixing bowl

Call your insurance company for the repair. Have THEM go after the driver of the other car.

Your insurance can sue him or his carrier.

Just make your insurance co. does their job. Thats what we pay our (excessive) premiums for.
