Pulled Over...

Guess what happened to me the other day... I got pulled over by a cop in Coon Rapids, MN because I had Blue lights on my whiper fluid nozzels... Luckily all I got was a Warning... but darn it.. he made me cut off my blue whiper lights right in front of him so we wouldn't give me a ticket... He said that I had a clean record and if I cut off The lights in front of him... he would let me go with a warning... otherwise it was a $90 ticket... THIS SUCKS.... blue whiper lights are badd.... yellow & orange ones are ok .... Red... is badd. ...

Duh. Any color used by law enforecment or emergency services is illegal to have on a non-governmental vehicle, no matter what state you're in.

You're lucky. ***** cops can nail you for impersonating an officer. It happened to a guy I used to work with when he had blue nozzles.

That stuffs just tacky in my opinion anyway...

did you have a switch to turn it off? because you shouldnt of had to cut it off... its not illegal to have it as long as its not on while driving. you can have it on while parked

any lights that do not come on the car can get you stopped. flashing, rotating, or oscilating lights can get you a ticket. so can red or blue lights if they are facing forward. the only lights that can face forward are white and yellow. blue can face backwards and red pretty much cant be anywhere (except tail lights). but like i said if its plainly obvious that the lights you have (ie sprayer lights or those gay *** ones that are on the tire air nozzles) dont come stock on the car they can get you stopped.

i actually read somewhere that ANY non-driving light is illegal, that even 90% of foglights on cars from the factory or illegal.

like if a light is 'X' amount of inches from the groud it has to be a driving light like ur headlight...and almost all fog lights fall into that area, but its one of those weird laws lol

yeah, just like how cars HAVE to be at LEAST 4 inches off the ground. Things that people dont usually get pulled over for, but DO get pulled over for.
