4B11 motor build @ Boomba Racing w/ FP RED & E85

We recently did a 4B11 engine build for a customer. The engine was built with SRP / JE Pistons, Forged I beam rods, Kelford S2's, ARP head studs, ACL Race series bearings, and it was topped off with a FP RED!!

Car ended up making 449 whp and 410 ft/lbs @ 30 psi on our Mustang Dyno.We tuned the car on DW 1300cc injectors and E85.

Pm us for pricing on:
Clutch replacement
Lowering spring installation
Drive train flush / coolant flush
Brake replacement - Pads & Rotors available
Tune on Open Ecu, Cobb AP, AEM EMS (boost leak test included)

Lean towards the X a little harder, they are really nice cars!

This power is Great for a Red!! Fp says the RED is rated to 520 hp max. On a dynojet we would be right at that mark. A full weight Evo with 446hp on our Mustang Dyno running a RED went 10.59.

With this car boost was falling off hard at redline. We tightened the **** out of the 18 psi actuator and it still was falling off. We called FP and when we told them we were making 450 on a Mustang dyno they said the turbo was pretty much maxed out and there is nothing we could do about the boost fall off. They told me this was due to the turbo being pushed out of its efficiency range.

I have tuned some of the newer REDs that have the surge port compressor covers with the FP 3" intake elbows, and the boost doesn’t fall off with this newer version as much.

The customer loves the car!! He might put a Black on the car very soon!!

I always figured boost would drop down faster with a more efficient head especially with cams.

I would say mid to bottom 11's. If we take a little weight out, and put the car on drag radials I think a 11.0 is possible!!
