Dialing in street manners is one thing. .

Something to consider
Speeding 30 mph over the Limit is a Class B Misdemeanor

Speeding 30 mph in excess of the limit is no longer a petty offense punishable by fine only. Now, a ticket for going 30 mph over the speed limit is a Class B misdemeanor, which has a penalty of up to six months jail and $1,500.00 fine

No Court Supervision for Aggravated Speeding

Speeding 40 mph or more over the limit was already a Class A misdemeanor. See 625 ILCS 5/11-601.5. All such offenses carry a maximum penalty of up to one year in jail and a fine of $2,500.00.

Thanks for all of the support guys!

A couple things to keep in mind, all of my tunes include a boost leak test. This is ignored by many tuners and is very important in getting an accurate reliable tune. I also have a full line of couplers, boost controllers, T-bolt clamps, egr block off plates, and spark plugs in stock if the need arises during a boost leak test or the tune.

Think about the total package when it comes to a tune. It’s not about saving a couple bucks it’s about doing what’s best for your car!

BTW: I offer FREE track support with every tune.

I was waiting for you to get on the thread, glad you did. I'm glad the you implement the BLT's as we all know that's the biggest issue that comes across these but know one thinks of it.

Honestly, glad you got your own place, obviously it's different now, in a good way.

Check out msp http://www.msptuned.com/index.html

They have good prices on boost leak test's unlike other shops that overcharge for every little thing..

If you need a tune id highly recommend inco9nito99 (kunal) hes an OG tuner when it comes to evos and will give you his cell # for 24/7 support. Great quality for a decent price.

Both are great options. Our tunes come with a FREE boost leak test, and use of our shop wideband, also for FREE.

I believe what gives BP the advantage is the fact that our tuner (Devin) is not just a tuner. He also is a ASE certified technician, and has built many Evos, DSM's, Wrx's from the ground up. That mechanical knowledge helps with the tuning process especially when you run into a problem that may not be tune related.

An example of this would be a tune on a evo X we just did. Devin ran into fueling problems. It took him no time at all to track down a faulty fuel pump install and at the end of the day this is what he came up with.

Personally Ive never been to boostin performace I know a few that have, but I know a handful of people that have been tuned by Kunal...hes awesome at what he does, and if you dont have a wideband he carries one around, so no worries there.

I will say that MSPtuned charges 30 bucks for a boostleak check.

I know people who have called boostin performance for a boostleak test price and Devin himself said its $30 "ONLY" if your getting "tuned" by him and $60.00 for just the boost leak check itself.

Find it strange that Devin quoted my guy 175.00 to install a wideband that already had a bung welded on. A wideband cost 200.00, just find it wierd that it takes a two hour labor rate to run a wire through the firewall and tap into power.

Im sure everyone that has been named in the thread has a good rep, so its all good either way.

It is strange, because those are not my prices!!!

Boost leak tests are FREE with a tune, not $30. Ask anyone that has had their car tuned by me. I've never told anyone $30 for a boost leak test. Normal price for our boost leak test is $40 and we will spend time and fix the leaks we do find.

Passing info from person to person is how a story gets messed up and I'm sure thats what happened in this case.

+1 for Devin @ Bosstin Performance! I just got my Ralliart tuned by him Monday and he really knows his stuff. Super nice guy and yes he did the boost leak test for FREE. I thought about AMS at first but after hearing so many good things on here about Devin I never looked back & I couldn't be happier plus his prices were way way better. Devin you got a customer for life!!

You have a lot of tuners to chose from locally. All the mentioned tuners are experienced and know what they are doing. Having said that, I would contact APM for great prices and excellent costumer service.
