Factory MOD 2011

Factory MOD '11 Dyno Shootout- September 24, 2011

Back by popular demand!

This year Factory Mitsubishi Owner's Day will again feature a dyno competition. Entry to the competition is open to any Mitsubishi vehicle.

We aim to run 12-15 vehicles in the 4 hours, so space is limited. Please submit your name, vehicle model and year, and a brief list of engine/drivetrain mods (no, I don't care about which shift knob you have ) to this email address:

mfg.MOD@mmma-bn.com

Other conditions:

Selection of vehicles will done by MMNA, based on attaining a mix of models and participants.

All eligible entrants will be compiled and finalists selected randomly to complete the list.

Run order will take into account entrant timing, so send this in as soon as possible.

Alternates will be selected in case of no-shows.

If you are selected, you will be notified at the email address used to send in the entry. It is up to you to show up at the appropriate time.

Decisions of MMNA are final.

No shop cars will be allowed into the competition.

All selected owner's will be required to sign a waiver of liability for potential damage to the vehicle.

Competition starts at 9:30 am. See you there!

Thanks Lily03 for your input!!

A lot of people have just been posting on fb about the event. Hopefully you make it. There should be 2 Evo II's (Mirage conversions) at MOD again this year.

As far as the convoy, that's awesome! I'm leading a convoy out of Schaumburg, IL that's at roughly 60+ right now and still growing.

See you at MOD!

Ill be there! I was there last year as well. I had a good laugh about those two evo 2s last year, a photographer was taking pictures of them and I was talking with another mirage Guy about whether they were awd converted. He looked at us like we were dumb and said of course they're awd, they're evos! Haha the joke was on him! They are very well done cars!

Yea I was there last years as well. Out of all the 6 years MOd has been going on I have only missed one due to my Evo failing about an hour out from the event, that was back in 2009.

I'm friends with both the owners of those cars, this year they will be there representing DEVO Tuning and Flyin Evo 2ning. Douglas Autoworks whom they represented last year closed up shop.

Anyways, I look forward to seeing your Evo II there this year. Unfortunately last year I did not see the cars as much as I would have liked.

Mines an Evo 4 conversion, but it's only kinda done. It has a few 4 body panels installed, but on the whole it still looks like a Mirage Coupe. Which car was yours?

Alchem1st... Nice I can't wait to see the project in process. Make sure to find me so I can meet you and see the car. I'm a short little Asian that is outgoing and loud and full of energy. lol.

I will be rocking out MOD with my Amelia. Amelia is a 2006 WW IX MR completely stock! Can't miss her, her custom plate reads Amelia and were both from Iowa. lol. :bounce. This is Amelia's first year going. Her previous owners never took her. lol.
