done. can we get some minor details about what you are using this for, even before its done? such as the .99 flat fee. I said no because i have no idea what it would entail and I am assuming this is on top of the parking fee. If it was an app on a smartphone a monthly surcharge or a one time purchasing cost would be much more appealing than paying each time simply because your too lazy or dumb to remember your tick stub (like me).

regardless, good luck and congrats on your future MBA

^ so did mine in undergrad...

Survey is closed. Thank you everyone for participating. It means a lot!!!

The idea was to charge a .99 transaction fee every time someone used our services. Our services consists of integrating Ipass (or other electronic tolling) to parking garages. So there would be no need to carry cash/credit cards or parking tickets as the transponder would measure how long you stayed and charge you accordingly. Our service would also consist of an app which allows the users to see parking garage availability. This would be step one of the process which would eventually lead to no fee for customers and the parking garages being charged instead.

good idea...i would assume the integration process with "ipass" would be an obstacle to overcome. its like sharing a bank account with the state. if companies start using a transponder for more services, then it'll be like taping a credit card to your windshield.
