attempted theft on a friends evo...chicago (where else)
A couple days ago my friend's evo was broken into in Lincoln Park. Same M.O., broken small rear door glass. He was lucky, that they didn't take anything or move the car. He thinks the thief(s) must have gotten scared or something and abandoned the car because nothing was missing. Just sharing

all of this theft bullshi* makes me not want to drive my evo to chicago EVER. i dont know how you guys can live there in peace with all this craziness going on.

Chicago is getting hit really bad for the past year. Total off the top of my head about 30 Evo's stolen to date. One being a red one 2 weeks ago that was one of my buddies.

+1 Not going to any meets up there until this **** is resolved. Sad thing is, you go to these meets with these cars, good chance the thieves are walking around shopping.

30 was just last yr in august in 10 mile radius of my house.. according to a chicago cop.. total since last yrs summer till now... is say easy 75+
