IL Muffler Shop

Hey guys, I live in Naperville, and was wondering if anyone around this area knew of a good muffler shop to go to to get my old Mangaflow muffler removed

* its welded on, so if its removed will it still be good to put on another car? *

And then have a new muffler attacthed.

Im looking for a shop who could prob. do this for around 50-60$ or less if found.

If anyone knows a good place, this would be greatly apreciated

Thanks all

~ Mike

I've had them do all kinds of *simple* exhaust work:
adjusted the cat-back on my camaro
welded in a cut out on my camaro
adjusted the turbo-back on the evo

each time was about 30-40 bucks. And by adjusted I mean it was already hung, but wasn't sitting quite right so they snugged it up for me.

I dunno if I'd have them install say a full turbo back or headers/exhaust manifold, but for simple welding stuff like you are talking about, I'd recommend them.

ya i talked to him today, he actually did alot of exhaust work for me a lil while back, but i feel like they ripp me off because im only 17 and cant do **** about it.

I talked to another guy who said he would prob charge around 35-45$ for the work, but without seeing the muffler it is hard to judge, along with the guy from exhaust works who said the same thing.

Thanks for the reply!

I had an old car where the resonator was rusting. they put on a new one. good job. still there today. (5 yrs?). It was pretty cheap too. I only had this one experience but it was good. No nonsense. Iggy's. Somewhere near Harlem rd around the Norridge/Harwood Heights Area.
