Indianapolis Area Tuners/ Shops

Hello all,

I recently moved to southern Indiana from Chicago and I am now without my two favorite shops, AMS and Strictly Modified. Anyone know of, or have good experience with Indianapolis area import/ tuner shops? My baby is finicky enough I need a decent shop within reasonable distance should something take a dump on me. Any advice would be appreciated!

Good luck with your search bud, wish you were closer so we can take a look at your car. Let us know if you need any parts we can have them drop shipped directly to you!

I know of a couple tuners in the Indianapolis area. They are on here, one of them is Jeremy Howell (fathouse) and the other is Adam Blevins, not sure on his forum name though. For actual shops though, I honestly do not know of any that are Evo specific.

Cisco,

After the fluid swap and the adjustment the clutch seems to behaving mostly normal... every once in a while the it will drag and be difficult to shift. Otherwise it shifts very smooth now, probably better than any time in the past few months. I am wondering if the slave or master cylinder has an issue causing my intermittent disengagement issues...

I didn't think there were any Evo specific shops around Indy or I would have figured that out by now, but how about some import specific custom shops? I just keep thinking that Indy is such a race-centric place its shocking there is no one that can competently work on my Japanese car.

Just heard a few good things about a local Columbus shop, HK Autos. Anyone by chance heard of them and can post an experience?

I'm a recent transplant to Indy as well (from Cleveland). Any local get togethers or any thing of that nature? Cleveland has numerous car clubs and meets nearly every day, hopefully Indy is similar.

There's a really good shop out in Greenwood called TRU Motorsports that can get you anything you need for a really good price, I go there for 90% of my after marker parts. I got my AEM air intake from them for $193 and the part usually goes for $215. Hope this helps ya. http://www.trumotorsports.com/
