So Gateway is finally open again. New owners I believe. The track has been re-paved and all. I see on their schedule, they still do the midnight madness. If its the same as before, racing goes into like 3 in the morning lol. Anyone planning on going to any this year? This is the closest 1/4 mile track for us in central, Il.

 

You'll probably see one of our customer's there sometimes, Otto. He has a 4G63 powered '79 Monza. It's orange so you can't really miss it.
So far he's gone 8.8 this year
We're planning on heading down there sometime this season, so hopefully we'll see you there.

I am not 100% how te track days work down there. I am interested in going down for the midnight madness event first. I know the shaved and re-paved the track though for this year. When I used to go to NOPI down there years ago, it seemed to be a pretty good track.

Kristin/Devin, I know of the monza. I didnt know he was from the southern part of the state though? That will be a nice surprise to see him down there. I will have a few friends with some fast mitsus from around here coming down too.

I cant wait to finally run the car at a decent 1/4 mile track. The other track I have went too, is an 1/8 mile and its terrible lol.
