Can anyone recommend a good dealership to deal with in the Detroit area?
I'm seriously considering buying or trading my car in for an Evolution RS...not sure if they are all pre-sold or anything, but if anyone can point me to a good
dealership.. that would be excellent. If a you have contact infos to give, please pm them over.
Any good experience stories are welcome! But even the bad ones will be noted carefully.
thanks in advance.

Just make sure they have the car in stock and
TELL them what you want to buy the car for.
You might even be able to buy the regular EVO because the cars aren't selling. You should be able to at least buy it for 500.00 above invoice should be fair. I couldn't find any dealerships willing to sell the EVO for that price since the car's were only coming in one or two per month. I found out that the dealership's in Grand Rapids were very reasonable except that I couldn't get financing there for some reason. I eventually made an internet deal in Ohio and bought my car there. They did try to mark up the price deceptively once it was time to sign the bottom line. Just make sure what your bottom line is.

thanks for the info. yeah with the limited run of the RS, it might end up costing more than a regular Evo8.
Will have to keep that in mind if I can decide to buy or not.

It shouldn't. The whole deal with the RS is that Mitsu will be omitting creature comforts to supposedly lighten the car, improve performance, AND reduce cost. I recently saw a 1000.00 rebate on the EVO8 from Mitsubishi two months ago. It should still be in effect. You should be able to buy the car for at least invoice since they are not selling (winter time). Call around even out of state (they really don't sell there).

$1K rebate on the evo8??
nice! will have to look out for that. I know the deal about the RS, but I won't be surprise if the lowest-end RS would probably only be $2-$3K less than the regular Evo8's minus all the creature comforts. Dealers can be crazy!...anyone remember a $30K mark-up on the evo8 when they first came out?
Thanks fo rthe replies...
if anyone have contact info for out of state dealers, please posts them.
at the least, I can get to use my nationwide long distance minutes on my cell phone.
