I'd recommend stohlman's in tysons corner, but i think theyre marking up now.. most of the staff i dealt with has changed, but they still seem very good. check em out. I'va also heard good things about sheehy.

There are two questions: one is availability of the car in stock at a good price, the second is the service dept.

Sheehy has cars and you can probably get it for at least $500 below MSRP. I had poor PDI (47 psi in the tires) from Sheehy with no other service so far so. I don't have personal experience with any dealers offering excellent mechanical service.

Since I need to get my Evo serviced, who would you all recommend? Since I've heard bad things about Sheehy's PDI, I am not sure about service. Any suggestions? I am in Herndon, but I'll drive if I need to. Also, if anyone knows who will service Evos on Saturday, that would be great since Sheehy will only service Evos M-F.

I bought my evo at Stohlman's in Tysons Corner. They seem to have seveeral of them in stock or arriving each week. They sell at MSRP or a little under if you push, mention that Sheehy sells at $500 below MSRP. My salesperson was Monica, the deal went pretty well as they matched my credit union financing rate. Only went to service to install my new plates, they seemed pleasent and somewhat knowlegeable. They said that they are aware of the recall but do not have specific instructions from Mitsubishi yet.

Was Monica cute? I might have to go by there for my servicing - it's really hard for me to get a weekday off (like Sheehy requires).

I got my car from Sheehy - I'd recommend 'em all the way.

Chris, what'd you hear about Sheehy's PDI?

Anyway, Stohlman gets a big from me. They were complete asses the last time I took my car in for service, and I had PitPass they only did half the stuff they were supposed to and didn't do the others because they didn't like "giving preference over their customers" or some BS like that... not as if PitPass were free anyways... I don't really like the service manager either, think his name is Matt Snow.

I took my car back to Sheehy and they fixed everything up for me. Much nicer guys, and according to Sheehy, Stohlman wasn't even licensed to sell or certified to work on Evos until a couple of weeks ago - so anyone who got serviced before that.. beware!
