So, anyone going? I plan on checking out the Evo RS. I didn't think it came with air, power windows etc, till I read you can get it if you order the "Urban Jungle" package which restores all of that.

Yeah i plan on going the first weekend, nice road trip and a good time. Did it last year to see an Evo in person before i bought it. Got back home and put a deposit on one the next day. Very cool show for sure.

 

I have media passes. I'll be there Feb 4th and 5th. Don't expect to get your questions answered, though. The male model doing the Detroit Auto Show presentation didn't know anything other than what he memorized.

 

Go figure, i really dont think anyone knows what the hell they are doing there,besides standing there and pointing at shiny things on the car.

 

you know... i got this invite from maserati?? I have to reserve a time and I can bring guests, they let me in free.. not sure what's going on. I CANNOT afford a maserati. But what the hell. They want to invite me and show me the car, who am I to say no?!

I went today. There is a BBY on the floor. The people still don't know anything. I was the one who informed them that the Evo was a 2003. They all thought it was a 2004 . And you can forget about seeing an RS.

can people at elast sit in the evo this time? last year it was just on a turntable, watching us drool over it..

Guys, you see at least 3 or 4 EVOs every time there is a meet (15 if you would have showed up last Saturday).

If you want to sit in one all you have to do is ask.

 

I will be going during a weekday evening.. less people than the weekends!!!!
