Ouch man! I've been changing my tranny fluid every 7K and mine has been holding fine so far - about 22K. Changing the fluid will really quiet the tranny down. PM me if you want all the details.

I changed out the front (& center) and rear diff fluid at 15K. That seemed to help things a touch, too. Anyway, let me know if you want a hand with anything.

I did change all the fluids and it was great, but oh well as long as i can get it done under warranty. I need to know how the stock boost controller lines are hooked up if anyone knows. I thought i had it but its only boosting to 12 psi.

I believe the vacuum line diagram under the hood has the routing with the boost solenoid turbo nipple and wastegate, Im not sure though. Might be worth checking if you havent already. Good luck

whine when you downshift to 2nd or 3rd gear? That's what mine is doing. I got about 14Kmi. Do I need a trans oil change? If so, what oil would you recommend?

Definitly change it. I've tried a couple of different tranny fluids, but what I'm having the best luck with right now is GM Syncromesh fluid. Unfortunately I've only got about 500 miles on the stuff, so I can't say anything about how well it will last.

Just changing the old fluid out and replacing it with the stock fluids could make a big difference. If you also decide to change out the rear diff fluid, you will need to use a fluid that is approved for (has the right friction modifier for) clutch type LSDs.

Changing the the transmission fluid and the front transfer case fluid made a big difference in the driveline noise level with my car. Let me know if you want more info.

I am not very big on changing fluids myself, but would you say something like JiffyLube is out of the question? Also, is the front TC fluid the same as trans? Thanks.
