Clutch install recomendations

I am looking to get a clutch installed in my Evo in the next couple months.

Could people in Southern WI, to (chicago area or north) give me some personal experiences with shops (specifically with clutch installs). Hell, I would drive all the way to Minneapolis if it's a good shop/deal.

I am looking for.

-Labor costs

-Time in the shop

-Any positive/negative comments.

I would do this myself, but I don't have the time/tools at my disposal here.

Thank you,

Don't go to any shady local shops that have never worked on an evo! lol Don't go to the dealer unless you have $2000 to spend. You may also want to research which clutch you will want and can likely source out the parts online to save a few bucks. I would suggest taking a trip down to Strictly Modified or Boostin' Performance which are probably the closest shops to you. Best of luck!

Thank you for your suggestion... I already know which clutch I will be using. Which is why I am not mentioning which clutch it is, as I do not wish for this to become a debate on which clutch to use. And I am already familiar with the "avoid shady shops mentality, which is why I am looking for

Don't forget to check out APM in Elmhurst. They have clutch special going on right now I believe. They've worked on my evo 10 as well as my vr4 never been disappointed. The are about $75 an hour, but they have a clutch special starting at 299 for a limited time. I'd imagine you could get the car back the same day.

I would recommend Touge Factory. They do really great work and are very professional. They have an Evo X for a shop car as well. I take my evo x to them for everything.

If you'd like to speak further about them or have any questions shoot me a PM.

Thank you for the recomendation.

Yes, we are running a special and the typical turn around on the clutches for Evo 8 and 9's are 4 hours, for the Evo X it's about 5.5-6.

There are specials going on, for all the makes, prices do vary depending on the model and style transmission.
