Just stopped by GRD in Naperville to check out their shop and talk cars with the guys. Real cool guys,down to earth. Anywho, what drew me to them is that they have a dynapack awd dyno. After talking with Tuan and another gentlemen I was informed that they are going to start doing REFLASHES using the same Techtom software as everyone else. This is great since most of the shops offering reflashes are on both coasts. These guys are big with scooby's and audi's and had many great APS products in stock in the sales room. Just thought you guys would be interested in a local shop that will be doing reflashes and not have to convert over to FWD in order to get it dynoed.

 

Just in case anyone was wondering where they are located it is 1580 Ogden Ave. Naperville,IL they are tucked into a auto mall with various other car stores

i have seen it. didn't know they had a dyno at all. when i walked in to talk to them they weren't very helpful. this was over the summer though..

sweet, my buddy had a 90 white gsx, then a 93 red gst, and now a 90 white gsx again... we go to the track all of the time, you should go with us when it warms up some more...

 

Count me in, we usually go to Rt. 66. My buddy has an Sti, and a turbo b16 hatch. around may or june we should all meet up

 

yeah we usually go to rt 66 too, but we just have 2 people and thats not that much fun...

Those GRD guys street race for LOTS of money at times too....

Just a note. I'm not trying to bash GRD when i say this either.

My friend has a 98 GST Eclipse and had GRD do all of his internals to install a big 16g turbo. In the end he was happy and now pushs very good whp number but from what he has said it wasn't worth the hassle. Lots of delays, run arounds, and suggesting unnecessary mods.

Though on the other hand I though GRD was on the list of distribotors for Vishnu products.
