It is a great track because it has plenty of run-off room but is difficult enough to challenge you no matter how many times you have been there. Are you coming out?

Hope to see some of you there,
Brian.

How far and what direction is this from Chicago? Chicago is about 10 hours form me, but I'm tweaking for some spring track time...

Where are you located? GingerMan is in South Haven, a small town that is a little north of Benton Harbor on the west side of lower Michigan. It is about 160 miles from Chicago, directly across the lake.

Yeah, cabin fever has me itching to get on the track!

Ouch - I'd be comming from Minneapolis so I'd probably be looking at 12 to 14 hours of driving. This might be a bit of a stretch.

How big is the track?

Yeah, that would be quite a hike, but you could make a 3 day weekend out of it! We had two guys come from Minneapolis last year, one had a Z06 and I can't remember what the other guy had.

Anyway, here is a spec sheet on the track. Go to www.gingermanraceway.com for more information.

I will give it some thought, but I may still need to pass. I haven't picked up track wheels yet and have a couple of other mods that need wrench time.

I also want to move up to some R compounds for track days this year. The Advans are sticky, but I kept blistering mine if I didn't keep the speed and braking down a touch.

G-Man is definitely a must and a real hoot! I'd do it but I'm doing Road America that weekend with www.speedseekers.com Erioshi, RA is in Wisconsin, much closer to Minneapolis...

Thinking of going, if not to run, at least to watch (shamless plug) as there is a TSSCC auto-x the next day in Joliet.
