Yesterday about 4:15 I was on 169 exiting east onto 62 heading to school. I saw a Purplish Blue Integra with a painted aluminum spoiler and Nasty bubbly tinted windows. we were on the Ramp waiting for the light to turn Green during that Time I looked into his car and saw some type of gauge by his steering wheel, couple of wires here and there, a Fire Extinguisher on the Passenger side. His Light Turns green and (I dont know but, Civics and Integras Always make a buzzing sound in their exhaust...) buuzzzvvrrooom... he goes. My Light Turns green and VRROOOMmm.. I go.... I caught up to him and started to pull ahead of him... I think he was going about 70 and I was going 80... I lead him for a couple seconds and the ZOOM he goes past me... his Muffler was spittin out NOS LIKE CRAZY... I was like "DAMN... I'm not an EVO you dont need to waste that NOS on me..." dude probably couldnt tell the difference. if anyone know this guy... No offense but, that was such a waste dude... my car wouldn't have been able to win anyways. He did it again like 2-3 times because there were other cars on the road... So I caught up to him pretty easily, plus it was the beginning of Rush Hour.

 

What's a shot of Nitrous run - I've heard of a 50 shot for example. Just curious.

Sounds like his VTEC was just kicking in. NOS won't ever come out of the exhaust, but any condensation in there will be shot out if enough gas force builds up, i.e. VTEC burst.

 

it's more of VTEC. NOS doesnt shoot out of exhaust. Smoke shoots out of the hood.

 

Ok, you don't "see" nitrous oxide unless they have a purge kit. Which cleans the lines to make sure you have a pure shot of nitrous oxide. People typically purge it up over their windshield. It looks like white gas.

I dont know... what ever it was, it was spewing this white stuff... It was more like a thick white smoke more than a liquid. but like i said... I would've lost anyway....

vtec just kicked in, but i do know that a lots of people in mn are running nitrous now with there honda's.

vtec doesn't burst.
any condensation in the exhaust would have been cleared out when the car was started.
