Colorado Evo owners

Hi, I am looking into buying an Evo, and I am just wondering if you have any feedback to any of the dealers in Colorado, maybe if you got a good deal somewhere, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
Dan D.

ps. If any tips from buying a car from the dealer would help too.

Don't go to Don Massey. They are mean and very hard to work with. The only guy that is nice in the dealership is Robbie and he works in parts and services. he is a great guy to work with and he will explain a lot of things to you. We just got my girl an evo as well and we got it from Mile high Mitsu. They were very friendly, got us a great deal and I can only say good things about them. Those are the only two Mitsu dealerships I have dealt with.

I've heard quite a few good things about Mile High, but no personal experience buying an evo.

Check out clubwrx.net (the mountain states section). There are quite a few guys that might have a good answer for ya.

If you dont mind, how much did you get the EVO at Mile High. I have talked to the people at Quality Mitsubishi, but they are not the smartest people and I don't think that they want my money. I don't think that I would want Quality performing service on my car, had a few bad experiences with my Eclipse with them. I went to Don Massey and at first I was looking at the Evo, but then somehow I ended up at my Eclipse telling them everything about my car; kind of wierd. I have had good times at Mile High but only in service and parts, they have a good discounts for Rocky Mountain DSM members.

How come you're selling Grifter? I see you have a red and yellow listed, do you have two?

DanD I'm not sure about buying price but Boulder Mitsu has fantastic customer service especially the service department. Good Luck!

Grifter MP5: Where did you buy your EVO's? How would you rate their customer service, and if you dont mind how much did you pay for them? Last, which one are you selling and for how much?

chronohunter: Ya, I for got that I had to go there to get some turbo to manifold bolts for my GS-T there, and they seem to be nice guys, I completley forgot about them.

Thanks for all of the responds so far, and it is good to see that there is a few Colorado EVO drivers here.

I got both evos at Phil Long Mitsu in Colorado Springs. The salesmen are great alot better then Dan Massey which I tried to buy my second evo at and they treated me like ****. Now the service dept. is different. Everytime I bring my car there for anything its your boost gauge caused the problem. I hate there customer service but o well. As for how much I paid I got the red one for $33K out the door with taxes and the yellow for around $30,000 with taxes.

I am selling the red one with all the mods for $30k. It has over $8000 worth of aftermarket stuff on the car and it dynoed at 350 awhp and 348 awtq. If you go to autotrader it has all the info on the car and a pic as well. The car was also in the evom.net calendar.

I know what you are saying about the customer service. Quality Mitsubishi could not work on my GS-t because it is too modded for them to diagnose.

I got my evo at Don Massey for $29,000. We got my girls evo at Mile high for $29500 with leather and sunroof. We had to bargain a lot, but we got what we wanted....we also had to rollover money from her other car. Everybody is right. Don Massey is sh*t. Stay away from that place.

So, does Mile High have 2004's? How hard was it to get 29k, the dealers tell me that the loyality program is still going on so I guess I get $1000 off.

They will be getting 2004's but they will be higher priced and they will come standard with leather and roughly around $33-35 K. It wasn't too hard. My girl is great at getting deals. And the guy we worked with was extra nice. He was a great help. And the loyality program is only $500. We got $500 of the price of the loan. So the car was $30000 but we got the $500 off to make it $29500.

We were dealing with a gentleman named Doug. He was a black gentelman and was very nice to us. I think the price was before taxes and licenses and all that fun stuff. Your welcome for your help. I wish I would have known this stuff before I went and bought mine. There also is a guy named Antonia Aguilar who works there. I went to high school with him and he was a nice guy too. My name is Kevin and my girl is Jenn by the way in case you need to reference us when you go in. I can only praise them there at Mile high. It was one of the easiest car buys i ever had.
