Alright guys, since Flames did such a great job of roundin' up the troops for the last meet (and i missed it) Im taking upon myself to regroup, and set another meet for this June.

Lets plan on the weekend of June 18th-20th. Last meet was on a Friday night and I just couldn't juggle the work, the drive home and girlfriend so this time let's shoot for a Saturday evening. It should give everyone time to wash up and roll out to wherever we decide to meet.

I think the 15 / Telegraph area is great, but Woodward is ALWAYS a good time. I know there's some guys further west - Any suggestions?

My EVO is currrently in Warren, MI. We are planning to go to Milan that weekend.

 

As far as meeting on June 18-20, I can't say yet whether I'll be able to make it, but I'd definitely like to meet up with some other Evos. Any interest of meeting on the west side somewhere closer to Plymouth?...
Anyway, I and some friends are heading out to Gingerman this thurs. 6/10 for the evening test and tune open track. Any interest from other Evos in the area?

 

How many Michigan EVO's are there?

 

We could have met at the SCCA CenDiv Solo2 event in Flint this Sun. Like it was said before, you need to set up a meet at an event like the drag strip (Milan, Mid-Michigan, US-131) or a track (Gingerman, Gratten, etc.). Something that will make it worth everyone's time. If you just want to meet in the Detroit area on the corner of such and such, then call it the Detroit Evo Club.

 

Thats not fun...not only Detroit, all of Michigan would be a lot better!

 

Well that could be perfect. Since I was the ONLY Evo running last event maybe we can all meet up AT Milan, or even before hand and cruise down.

Im just throwing this out there and hoping something sticks.

Maybe a meet somewhere along 696 (before 275) would be good... OCC has a campus right off 696 that might be convient. FYI, the event doesn't start untill late afternoon, but test and tune is all day (starting at noon I believe). Brackets are around 6PM.

I'm only going to Milan for the test and tune and will be heading there about 10 or 11 with some friends with supra,civic,etc. Hopefully it won't rain.

Another test and tune will be at Milan Sat Aug, 14th. Hopefully, we can have a good showing of Evo's because there are usually alot of SRT-4's that think they are sweet. Maybe we could all meet and drive there in a pack. my roomate (mazda 6) and I will be heading there.
