Hey everyone,
The sixth annual All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show is coming up on Sunday, August 22nd, in Rogers, MN. This huge event is open to all Mitsubishi built cars. Last year's show featured 100 Mitsus spread across a nice grass lot at the Ellingson Car Museum. Its truely a unique event. We are expecting well over 100 cars at this years event. All the details can be found at:

Hey guys,
We've already got 21 cars signed up for the Cookout. Here is the list as of Saturday: http://www.mn3s.org/attendees2004.html (18 cars)
The two most interesting cars so far is an Avenger converted to the DSM turbo motor and AWD. Thats just insane!! Plus there is a non-turbo Lancer with a turbo kit. Pretty sweet!!
I've also made a flyer for people to hand out if they come across some nice Mitsus out there. Here is the flyer:

I'll have to see if there are any track events that weekend. If I'm not at the track I may show up.
mcbrown, why haven't you shown up for any of the AARRF (www.aarrf.com) events? That lancer would be a blast on the track...

We'll probably have 5 to 10 EVOs there this year. I'd love to have you be one of them...

Hey everyone,
I've made some updates to the All Mitsu Cookout page at:
http://www.mn3s.org/all_mitsubishi2004.html
I've added some hotel and campground information for those planning on staying overnight in the Twin Cities. As of today we have 38 people signed up for the Cookout. Thats right on par with what I'm expecting.
Hope to see you there,
Curt

Only a couple of EVOs so far. We are well ahead of last years sign up pace. We'll easily break the 100 car mark. Hope to see you there.

Hey everyone,
I've finalized the categories for the All Mitsu Cookout. Here they are:
Best 90-94 DSM
Best 95-99 DSM
Best 00+ Eclipse/Stratus coupe
Best 91-93 3/S
Best 94-99 3/S
Best Evo *
Best Classic Mitsu (89 and older)
Best Other Mitsu *
The "Gene Helms" Cleanest Car Overall
* The Evo and Other category may be lumped together. So far there are not enough EVOs for there own category.
We will have trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for all categories except Cleanest Car. That is only a 1st place trophy. All voting is done by the participants. So far we have 64 people signed up and we still have a month to go!!
