EVO for sale

Things change, and having a fast car has to take second place for awhile so I am selling my EVO

Chicago area

2003 Silver low wing

@22,000 miles

Sunroof

OEM gauge pod

Falken Azenis Sports on OEM rims

Winter set of wheels- SSR rims with Pirelli P-Zero Nere M + S @4000 miles on this set, may consider a separate sale of these

Vishnu Stage 1 / turboback version- May remove and sell Xede if I have to

Exedy single plate

Mitsu grounding kit

B & M short shifter with brass shifter bushings

Asking $26,500 for all $25,500 without winter wheels

PM me if you are interested.

I posted this in "regional" rather than "for sale" because if I can't sell it by myself locally I am just going to trade it. Private sale will be offered for @2 weeks.

You will get more responses if you tell us where you live. The Midwest is a big place!

Stock, sorry to here about this!!!! I heard a lot about you from Lithe, your instructions would have been very helpful to us if he hadn't got the dump back exhuast by mistake.... Can't you sell something else instead? Wife? Kids?

Anyway, since I am posting I may as well be mercinary too. Would you be willing to sell the exede seperate? PM if if you are interested and what you want for it.... Also interested in either the SSR or the stock rims. Thanks, let me know

I would like to sell the winter set and Xede with the car. However, if I have to trade in the car I will likely sell those items individually.

moss- you have dibs on the Xede and are you are second in line for the wheels, another EVOM member spoke up first for the wheels.

The wife is definately worth keeping, along with her BMW 330ci . That will likely be my autox car, unless I pick up a cheap Miata or MR2 over the winter.

I have to get something slow and stock so that multiplyer doesn't kill me, you know like how Bob always does so well .

Assuming you trade in rather than sell outright.

If I were you I would pull everything off that was worth 'something' to you. When I traded my WRX for my Evo, they looked at the car with all the aftermarket stuff on it (wheels, TBE, Cobb Accessport, STi scoop), and gave me the price... I said well look at all the aftermarket stuff. The guy said that it didn't really matter about the aftermarket stuff, it would be the same price stock. So that night I put everything back to stock took it back the next day and got the same price on trade. Now I am $1500 richer because I have most of that stuff sold.

But, keep me posted on what you want to do, I will def. take the wheels, and will probably take the Xede depending on PnP harness, firmware version, price and cost to upgrade to latest firmware and PnP.

Nooo! So what, I miss a few events and you sell your car? Damn! Anyway Jerry, it was fun racing with you a little over the summer, hopefully everything's okay with you, and don't be a stranger to the board or to the local auto-x races.
I agree, get a lancer oz and try and kick Bob's *** for us

Thanks for the offer for the co-drive evo8usa, I may take you up on that!

The Lotus Elise is not in the picture, the only way that car would work for me is to have it as a dedicated autox/weekend racer. At 40K+++ that is not gonna happen. The ergonomics are just crap for anything more than that kind of use IMHO.

N8, you are the reason I am selling, I just felt too alone being the only low-wing EVO there, thanks for abandoning me.

And just to be clear, this change in vehicles is completely voluntary. My business structure has changed a bit and I am driving ALOT more (A blessing and a curse). The EVO insurance and especially maintenance costs are just more than I want to spend right now. I will miss the performance, don't get me wrong, it's just that fun is gonna take a back seat for a year or two.

I have narrowed my new vehicle choices down to 3 cars, 2 will be autocrossable (Is that a word?), the third will not be, at least not worth driving. I will PM those I have met when the final purchase info. I AM NEVER POSTING anything a car company could use against me on a public board again, thanks Mitsubishi. The massive "warranty voiding" thread in the general EVO section should teach us all that lesson.

AND ANOTHER THING N8, TRY AND KICK BOB'S ***????? Be real, I could drive the course backwards at night and kick that boy's ***. You'll notice that even though I offered to let HIM drive my 30K EVO, he never offered to let me drive his car. He was totally afraid of how bad I would beat him in his own ride.
